Born and raised in Stoney Creek, Mark Woehrle is a proud Hamiltonian who knows the city inside and out. From a young age, he was constantly on the move, playing basketball, practicing martial arts, and diving into every sport he could. He became a part of the community early, and if you’re from Hamilton, chances are you’ve heard of him or even met!
Mark left home to study at the University of Western Ontario in London, then completed Teachers College at the University of Windsor. He returned to Hamilton and began his career as a supply teacher… until he caught “the Bug.” the VW Bug to be exact.
That spark led him to open his first business: a vintage Volkswagen restoration and parts shop on Main Street East, near the traffic circle. From Beetles to Karmann Ghias to Westfalia vans, Mark poured his energy into restoring these classic cars and building a community around them.
With the encouragement of his parents, Dieter and Eleonore, Mark bought his first home on the Hamilton Mountain in the Greeningdon neighbourhood. He and his dad renovated it together. He then moved into one half and rented out the other, turning it into his very first income property and discovering a new passion: real estate.
One home quickly turned to into many. Mark began buying and fixing up properties across Hamilton, building a solid foundation as an investor. In 2012, he launched Team Mark Woehrle at RE/MAX Escarpment Realty Inc., the #1 brokerage from Hamilton to Niagara since 1994. What was his goal? To offer honest, heart-driven service that truly puts clients first.
Presently, Mark resides in Mount Hope, Ontario, on a hobby farm with a chicken coop, a barn, a pond, fruit trees and acreage.
