Born and raised in Stoney Creek, Mark Woehrle is a proud Hamiltonian who knows the city inside and out.
From a young age, he was always in motion—playing basketball, practicing martial arts, and trying every sport he could. He connected with the community early on. If you’re from Hamilton, chances are you’ve heard of him or even met him!
From Classroom to Classic Cars
Mark left home to study at the University of Western Ontario in London. He later completed Teachers College at the University of Windsor. Back in Hamilton, he began working as a supply teacher—until he caught “the Bug.”
The VW Bug, to be exact. That spark led him to open his first business: a vintage Volkswagen restoration and parts shop on Main Street East.
From Beetles to Karmann Ghias to Westfalia vans, Mark poured his energy into restoring classics and building community around them.
The First Property That Changed Everything
With encouragement from his parents, Dieter and Eleonore, Mark bought his first home in Greeningdon on the Hamilton Mountain. He and his dad renovated it together. One home turned into many. Mark started buying, renovating, and renting properties across Hamilton, building a solid foundation as an investor. In 2012, he launched Team Mark Woehrle at RE/MAX Escarpment Realty Inc.

Life Today: Farm, Family, and Full-Service Real Estate
Today, Mark lives in Mount Hope on a hobby farm—complete with a chicken coop, barn, pond, fruit trees, and open space.
